Hi Grandma!

AquaMan!

This video sort of kinda comes close to showing how excited he gets when the sprinklers come on. Unfortunately getting any closer with the camera would mean our blog would be REALLY REALLY boring ;)

Nolan is the wild man now. Within the last week he has gone from Mr Cautious to ....well....aquaman.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!

I have to share this one with you. Just another beautiful night on the balcony. I happen to notice that my two cuties had on matching shirts, which of course means time for a photo shoot. Ha Ha Ha. Actually only took ONE shot to get this beautiful photo.

We had to make an emergency upgradge to our laptop last night (sad, sad, sad ;) and now have a webcam! If anyone out there is set up for the web/video calling thing, let us know. We are looking forward to testing it out.

Lets try this.

It's not dolphins

Tonight we got to see our first group of dolphins swimming through. There were a couple dolphin cruises floating through around dinner time tonight that had placed a bunch of feeders out in front of our house. I paddled out in the kayak while Brooke and the kids got to watch. We didn't get any pictures....this time, but at least we got this one. This was right after we got in from our night-time paddle. We have advanced to a boys boat and a girls boat. Nick is starting to get quite a bit more patient with going for boat rides.

Night at the beach

She can fly!
This was our camp for the night. It is quite a bit of work getting all our "stuff" up here. They make you walk up the beach (Johnson) 1/2 mile before you can set up camp. The great part....IT'S FREE!!!! We just wanted to get out there and give it a try and I'm sure we'll be back many times. I'm also sure we'll need to bring a bit less next time. Option B would be to get a boat to bring in all of our gear. We'll see.
From this point, look to the right and it's 50 yards to the Gulf. Look to the left and it's 50 yards to the intercoastal waterway. Not a bad spot to camp. As you can see there is plenty of space for camping. Did I say it's free? Come on down, we'll work something out for hauling stuff out.

It's been a while since we've had a fire on the beach. There was plenty of driftwood to burn. We forgot to bring marshmallows though :(

This is about 20 minutes before sunrise. I woke up and looked out to see this sliver moon and had to get up and snap a picture.

Figured while I was up, I might as well wait for the sun to come up.
