Grandma came for a visit

My mom came to visit us last weekend. This is a good shot of her with Nick. It didn't take long for Nick to warm up to Grandma(White). He was glad to give her many hugs and kisses.
Amelia saw what Grandma was wearing and wanted to dress just like her. So we did the best we could. We all had a fun weekend with her, and it was nice to have an extra set of hands! Dale and I even managed to go out one night!

Photos of Nick

Nick is so lovey. He likes to walk around holding and hugging Amelia's baby doll. He will also do this when he finds a stuffed animal. Nick loves receiving hugs and kisses, so when he is not receiving them, he likes to give them! Nick also loves to give wet, open mouthed kisses. Usually he kisses on the lips, but occasionally you can get a kiss somewhere else---like your eye.
I had to post this picture because Nick is following after his brother. Nolan got this toy for Christmas just before he turned two, and he used to sit in the center of the roads and play. Nick never saw Nolan play this way, so I just laugh watching Nick do it also.

What can I call this post.......

Crabs!!! Some neighbors from up in Mobile, that came down for weekends, recently decided to rent out their condo long term. While we are sad to see some good neighbors go, Nolan and I were excited Sunday morning to find we were the new owners of Kevin's crab trap :) Off to the grocery store for some chicken backs.....a night of soaking in the bay.....and we got some crabs. These are Blue Crabs that at first glance people wonder if they'd be worth eating. But, after a nice long soak in a bath of boiling water, they are the most delicious 2 ounces of meat you can get. OK, maybe a bit of an exageration....... lets just say 2 ounces of meat that I've caught.

Triplets

Here is a picture of the kids with Andrew, Patrick, and Katie---nine year old triplets. They are our neighbors' grandkids. Nolan and Amelia had lots of fun playing with them all weekend. The triplets made our three seem like a piece of cake. They are FULL of energy--and they don't even take naps. It was fun watching them all play together.
