We ran into a blocked intersection at Innerarity & Sorrento on the way to Johnson Beach. Ended up waiting an hour in the King's (burger) parking lot for the pres to fly by at about 50 mph.

Only had my phone camera with us, but at least we got something.

Ride a bike.

On Johnson Beach today.  No tar balls and no oil here yet.  Just an absolutely beautiful beach.  Maybe a bit stormy.....

This was earlier in the week, we saw this storm coming and got packed up pretty quick.  Water spout came right down to the gulf and was whipping water around pretty good.  It was pretty cool to see.

We got rid of the sail boat last week, but picked up a canoe pretty quick so we could all get out on the water together.  It's been pretty fun.  I think I've learned the kids can't ever really appreciate SAIL power, until they've experienced PADDLE power.

He's 7, but he's got the toughness of a 17 year old.
