They're calling for some rain today.

What an awesome morning for sailing. OK, maybe not the whole morning. It's just after 9am now and the Bay is getting a bit too choppy for my SunFish at this point. But anyway, I love sailing this boat when the wind is blowing hard. In this picture, I had to jump off the boat because I was having a tough time turning into the wind. Just as I turned the boat around......it took off fast. I had to jump on, with my legs hanging off, and pull myself on. Luckily I made it and I'm sure it looked pretty extreme.

We Adopted Kittens
You can see that Nolan and Amelia love feeding our local stray kittens each evening. It's been a fun way for the kids to get to have pet cats without having to change a litter box.
Here are the beauties! These are the largest of the two kittens. There is another gray (runt) kitten that only comes out to eat after we leave. He/She is too scared to eat while we are there, but we do see it sitting back a ways in the woods.--Brooke--

Walk in the park.
Whatcha think Chris? Does Nolan have a future as a photographer? We got him to snap this picture for us tonight on our walk at Johnson Beach. I suppose you all know this is Johnson Beach by now.......
But yeah....just another walk in the park.
And yet another beautiful sunset. The sun....the sky....the clouds.....it's just amazing everytime.
We got to see Aunt Ricky, Jennifer, Sarah and their families over the weekend. We spent some time at "The Hangout" in Gulf shores and had a great time. We are looking forward to getting more family and friends down here. I mean......taking all these pictures is fun, but the Perdido Key tourism committee is going to be disappointed if we don't bring in more visitors with our blog ;)

Green - Blue - Brown
Well ya'll, yet another great weekend in Florida. We decided to cap a weekend of swimming at the pool, kayaking, playing in the bay, bike riding, roller blading and sailing with an evening trip to Johnson Beach for our first ever game of Beach Baseball.
Baseball on the beach is a bit more like football than baseball. It's pretty fun tackling these little monkeys in the sand.
Here is Brooke with our little Native American baby we recently adopted :)
And then Amelia....... you can't be superfly all the time.
