What A Weekend

We crammed a lot in this weekend. We spent Saturday walking around downtown Denver. Sunday morning we hit the Denver Zoo until the little legs got tired, and then we took a picnic up into the mountains for the afternoon. You can't resist following a mountain stream as gushing as this. It was beautiful!

Sailing

Yep, even 1500 miles from Perdido Bay, a guy can still have the sailing itch. I'm not gonna lie, leaving the beach and my perfect Bay hasn't been easy. I miss it a LOT. Who knows, maybe some day we'll be back? But for now, it's good to have another Hobie 16..... With orange sails even! Looking forward to getting back on the water :-)

Boulder

Last week we took a quick trip to Boulder, which is about 20 minutes from our house. We spotted this trail that follows Boulder Creek right down the mountain on our way up to Nederland one day. The kids rode their scooters and Dale and I walked with Honey.... which felt a bit wimpy compared to the guys hanging on the sides of the mountain about 500 feet above our heads.
